The commitment for Justice and Peace is an important aspect of the new evangelization and, as Claretian missionaries, we wish to assume that commitment, in faithfulness to the mission, to the people and to the local Church, so that the Kingdom of Peace and Justice may come and each individual may have the right to life and play a part in a more fraternal and united world. As Servants of the Word, communicating the Word of God implies communicating the values of Christ that is love, peace, justice, brotherhood, equality and fraternity. It needs an experiential communication with Jesus. Jesus' mission was proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God and communicating new life to all. We share in His mission of communicating and imparting new life to all humankind, irrespective of caste, creed, race and nationality. Therefore the work for JPIC is an effective means of communicating the Kingdom of God and a New Life to all.

• Creating a JPIC consciousness among the members of the Province.
• Initiating JPIC based spirituality among the members.
• Actively participating in defense and promotion of life, justice, and peace.
• Collaborating with other religious or civic organizations (XXIII G.C 67.4)
• Gaining awareness of the values of Justice and Peace that our presence may become credible, qualified and capable of giving rise to actions of equality, coexistence, reconciliation and Christian fraternity in our people.
• Defending the rights of individuals, accompanying communities that they may be prepared to denounce abuses in a united way and with documentary evidences.
• Educating the members to attain critical-evangelical judgment and consider the events in the light of the Word of God.
• Denouncing structural sins and every form of injustices prevalent in our society.
• Raising consciousness of the rights and duties of the citizens.
• Prophetic proclamation of the Word of God as our response to the challenges we face in the pluralistic cultures and contexts of our recipients for their integral human formation (Church in Asia 37) to build up the reign of God.
