In the wake of the new millennium 2000, the Claretian Communications began to bring out the Word of God closer to the Laity through Tamil Bible Diary. This effort has been a successful one reaching tamil people living all over the world. Especially for the tamil people living away from the country, it nourishes their need to read and meditate the word of God in their mother tongue. The diary contains:
- daily Gospels
- Three Sunday Readings
- Commentaries for the readings
- Saints of the day
- liturgical colors
- guidelines for BCC meetings
- basic prayers
- tamil mass prayers
- mysteries of the rosary
- Tamil Dates corresponding to the Gregorian calendar.

In Indian context, Hindi language plays an important role. In most of the north Indian states, Hindi language is used officially. It also serves as a connecting language. In this background it was decided to print Bible diaries in Hindi that the Word of God may reach as many people as possible.

1) Tamil Community Bible
|
The Word needs to be broken everyday and in every context. The Community Bible that has reflected the aspirations of the suffering community to interpret the Word of God is the model of the Tamil Community Bible Project. In collaboration with the Pastoral Bible Foundation, Philippines and Bible Scholars of Tamil Nadu the initiative is taken by the Province of Chennai to publish the Tamil contextual translation of the community Bible. 2) Corse Cards |

| Employment in rural India is quite hard to find. When that comes to the women, it is still more difficult. In-order to respond to that situation, Card-making project is run by the Claretian Communications in the name of Creating Opportunities for Rural Self Employment (Corse Cards). In this programme the rural artisans produce Greeting Cards and Straw-made pictures which are marketed by Claretian Communications, earning additional income to the poor men and women. |

3). Audio Visuals
|
 In our effort to make known the Word of God we need to incorporate the usage of press and audio visual media in our ministry. As the first step , 'Pugalnthidu Nenjame' (Praise o heart) a devotional audio cassette was released in 1984 and 'Uravin Udhayam' (The dawn of relationship) another devotional cassette was released in 1992. To mark the jubilee year 2000 a cassette namely "Puthu Yuga Dharisanam" (Welcoming the Millennium) was released. 'Vazhvai Theadi" (In search of life) is a documentary vedio CD produced by the Claretian communications which reports the social evil of female infanticide which prevails in Usilampatti taluk, and the service rendered by Claretian Mercy Home as a prophetic and missionary response towards this challenge. "Thiru Mugam" ( Sacred Face), "Ennodu Pesuvaaya " are the recent audio albums released both in cassette and CD form.

4). Religious Books |
"Books are effective means of missionary endeavor, they can travel faster than the missionaries and reach numerous people" says St. Anthony Mary Claret. He also instructed his disciples "preach and distribute books" Assuming this spirit from the founder and the missionary heritage of the congregation, Claretian communications also publish and distribute good books. Books related to the word of God and catechism are given preferential option.

"The best alms is a good Book" says St. Claret. Convincingly the founder has instructed the members to involve not only in publishing and printing good books but also to circulate and reach people in great number. Claret Book Centre at Lalpur is an initiative to actualize this vision of evangelization. It aims at good books based on the Word of God, Theology, Catechism and other Christian spiritual realms. This initiative is also very much appreciated by the local church, religious and the faithful. Besides books good content is circulated also in the forms of audiovisual materials such as cassettes and CDs. Other than these Claret book centre provides varieties of statues, religious articles for the use of Churchs, relgious houses and homes.
